I'm a digital nomad, entrepreneur, worldschooling coach and a mom of 15-year-old twin girls. 

We have been traveling and worldschooling for most of the past 8 years, visiting or living in 22 countries (and counting!).

Over the years, I’ve learned so much about how to travel… pre-kids and nowadays as a family. I’m coming up on 50 countries. Some repeatedly!

Traveling, learning about different cultures and exploring the world is a passion of mine, and now an interest of my kids!  

I’m also passionate about the best ways for kids to learn. I launched and later sold a children’s play cafe business which included a preschool, helped launch and run a global online school for a few years and co-hosted a homeschooling summit. 

All of those experiences helped me realize that there are so many better ways for kids to learn outside the walls of a traditional classroom. 

The world can be their classroom and there’s much to learn online or in-person via local schools around the world (a super way to learn a new language), worldschool hubs, with tutors etc. 

I’ve also literally met hundreds of other worldschooling families IRL over the years and learned how they live this lifestyle and educate their kids. There are many ways to do so! 

The benefits of living this lifestyle and learning through the world are immeasurable and outweigh the cons. And yes I made a big PRO and CON list about Worldschooling!

But I know that planning and researching how to travel long-term with kids and worldschool them can be overwhelming.

It took me nearly two years to figure out how best to do it before we launched our trial year in 2016. And I was already an experienced traveler... but not yet with kids. 

I tracked down a handful of experienced worldschoolers and got inspired by them to try out this lifestyle. I dug through various social media channels and went down countless rabbit holes. I read the Four Hour Work Week and some other digital nomad and travel-type books and blogs. There wasn't as much out there like there is now.

But it's still a lot of work to search, follow, post, ask questions and dig around for the answers to important questions. There are some blogs, books, mini courses and 1:1 coaching you can now access but nothing quite in-depth and comprehensive.

I see so many people using various ways to learn and prepare which is terrific and useful. I'm so happy the interest in worldschooling is growing! But again, it's lots of effort to piece things together.

I also see people making some newbie mistakes once they launch. Some are small mistakes but others quite costly. Many are kinda winging it, figuring out things as they go and hoping for the best.
